On 12 August, we gathered together at the airport of Dunaújváros.
Normal, ordinary people, you would not have guessed we are up to something extraordinary... We were chilling and taking the sun, cooking the bogrács gulyás (typical Hungarian soup cooked on fire), like a normal picnic.
Sometimes, we started eagerly watching and pointing at the sky... searching for our friends. They appeared first as little dots, then the parachute opened and for a few minutes they were flying over our heads... In the last minute, we rushed to the landing point to watch them arrive on the ground, and capture some photos of the happy faces :) Everyone had a huge, ecstatic smile glued to their heads - after 40 seconds of free fall, it is normal!
We had a facebook and a picture game going on for three weeks, and had altogether 7 winners - they had a free or a half-priced tandem jump.
Plus there was a surprise diver! Zsuzsi, online coordinator of budapestUNDERGUIDE was surprised for her birthday by her colleagues, so she could make a 'huge jump' into her next year...
We thank all the participants, the Millennium Tandem Team and hope to see new and old faces when we organize the next extreme event!
