Most of the buildings that define the cityscape of Budapest to this day were essentially built in the last third of the 19th, and the beginning of the 20th century. The most famous architectural style of this long period of peace, which lasted until 1914, was Art Nouveau.
Discover the beautiful villas, relics of this style, around the City Park and marvel at the unique Art Nouveau motifs.
