Budapest wins The Best European Destination title

It’s official! Budapest is the number one European destination on the bucket list of tens of thousands of travelers as the Hungarian capital wins the European Best Destination 2019 contest earlier this week.

Over the past month, half a million of travelers from 153 countries had voted for their favorite city on the old continent and we are proud to see, Budapest came ahead of such popular destinations like Malaga, Athens, Florence, Vienna or Paris.

As ambassadors of all the beauty and possibilities what this city has to offer for both visitors and locals, we are not surprised at all. Budapest was named in the past years as The World’s 2nd Best City, it has The World’s Most Beautiful Café and the 2nd Most Scenic Tramline.

We are delighted to see, the world starts to realize, there’s much potential in our hometown.
